Emily is a life-long Seventh-day Adventist currently working in the international humanitarian industry as a health and nutrition advisor for emergency and fragile contexts. She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Health from Loma Linda University and a Master of Science (MSc) in One Health from University of Edinburgh, with research experience on the connections between religion/spirituality and the holistic human-animal-environmental wellbeing concept. She currently lives in Maryland, USA with her husband and two cats.
